N900The Nokia N900 is a complex piece of technology. I can imagine that a few out-there want to know how it looks inside the N900. Of course, you shouldn’t open up your N900 and loose your warranty and destroy it. So you can take a look at the service manual in which you can see all parts. This disassembly reveals a lot how the N900 is built up. Enjoy

http://www.simplyzesty.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/twitter_logo.pngTwitter is becoming more and more an important part of the mobile phone experience. At the moment there aren’t many twitter apps available for the N900. However, I found Hahlo to be very useful. Actually Hahlo isn’t a application you have to install but just a web application. Just point your Nokia N900 to Hahlo.com, sign in with your twitter name and enjoy the service. Hahlo offers you access to your direct messages, shows inline replies, mentions, shows pictures and much more. Furthermore you have a big variety of options to customize Hahlo. Screenshot-20091201-163015.png by you.The Nokia N900 is with its super sharp WVGA 3.5” touch screen and the 32GB built in storage a perfect video player. Without any further decoders it supports 3GPP formats (H.263), AVI, Flash Video, H.264/AVC, MPEG-4 and WMV. This already is quite a bit. Nonetheless some of you might miss a few formats. If so, you can go to the extras-testing catalogue and download Decoders Support. This application brings support for additional video and audio decoders:

  • MKV support
  • FLV support
  • MPEG2 Transport Stream support
  • AC-3 audio in video files support

In case you don’t have the extras-testing catalougue to download application:

Application manager –> Application catalogs –> New
Catalog name: maemo.org extras-testing
Web address: http://repository.maemo.org/extras-testing
Distribution: fremantle
Components: free non-free
